M{AI}L Project Update: The AI Revolution Moves to the Classroom!
We are delighted to report on the highly productive second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2), successfully hosted by Gestionet in vibrant Bilbao!
This meeting was crucial for synchronizing our efforts as we transition into the implementation phase, ensuring quality control and maximizing the impact of our forthcoming tools.
📚 Milestone Achieved: Handbook V1.0 is Ready!
The team has successfully completed the foundational work for Work Package 2 (WP2), led by Gestionet. We are pleased to announce the completion of the first version of the “Teachable Machine Unleashed” Handbook!
This manual, designed to introduce educators to AI and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and guide the integration of the Teachable Machine tool, is the core output for preparing our teaching staff.
👥 Critical Next Step: Teacher Feedback Sessions (WP2-A3)
The immediate priority, coordinated during our TPM2, is the successful roll-out of the Hands-on Sessions with Teachers (WP2-A3).
These sessions are vital because they are the first testing ground for our resources. We will actively collect feedback from participating educators to inform the second, improved version of the Handbook. This iterative approach ensures the materials are practical, relevant, and directly address the real challenges faced in the classroom.
🚀 Launching the Student Pilot Phase (WP3)
With the Handbook improvement process underway, we spent significant time in Bilbao finalizing the operational guidelines for Work Package 3 (WP3): Machine-Assisted Learning.
WP3 is where the project truly comes to life: a large-scale pilot involving over 400 students! Following the student pilot, we will gather the final set of feedback to produce the third and final version of the Handbook. This continuous refinement cycle guarantees the highest quality for our end-users.
