M{AI}L Project Presented at Educational Conference in Greece
M{AI}L Project Shared at Teachers’ Conference in Greece
On 8 May 2026, the M{AI}L – Machine and Artificial Intelligence Learning for Education project was presented in Greece during a conference organised by the project’s Greek partner, the Chania Directorate of Primary Education (CDPE).
The event took place in the framework of the 3rd Teachers’ Conference of Chania, under the theme “The Art of Teaching and Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Active Citizen”. This theme created a highly relevant setting for introducing the M{AI}L project and discussing how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning can support new approaches to teaching, learning and communication in schools.
Although the project is still in an active implementation phase, CDPE has already been promoting targeted dissemination activities in Greece. The conference represented an important opportunity to share the project’s objectives with teachers and education stakeholders, while also contributing to a broader discussion on educational innovation, digital transformation and the professional development of teachers.
M{AI}L aims to support schools in introducing AI and Machine Learning concepts in a practical and accessible way. Through the use of Teachable Machine, the project encourages teachers to explore new digital tools and supports students in engaging with technology through interactive and curriculum-related activities. The project also focuses on the development of a practical manual and classroom exercises that can help teachers integrate these topics into their daily pedagogical practice.
By participating in this conference, the M{AI}L project strengthened its visibility among the Greek educational community and reinforced one of its central messages: Artificial Intelligence should not be seen only as a technological challenge, but also as an opportunity to rethink how students learn, how teachers teach and how schools prepare young people for an increasingly digital society.
The M{AI}L consortium thanks the Chania Directorate of Primary Education for its active role in promoting the project and for supporting dialogue around the future of education in the age of AI.
